I am Sir. William Ramsey and with the help of Mr. Morris M. Travers we have discovered an amazing element. While we were studying liquified air, small amounts of liquified krypton remained behind after more volatile components at liquid air had boiled away. the element is now called krypton.We have made several uses with this element, like for example: for photographic flashes used in high speed photography, fluorescent light bulbs are filled with a mixture of both krypton and argon gases. Krypton gas is also combined with other gases to make luminous signs that glow with a greenish yellow light.


I Antonio de Ullan have discovered platinum, a new element found in Columbia. I actually need to give all the credit to the early Colombian Indians in 1735. I have made a lot of uses for this element and it is even more valuable than gold. platinum is used to make jewelry, wire, lab vessels, and resistant to corrosion. They also  used it to produce missile nose cones to make it more air resistant.
